TAI CHI & QIGONG

TAI CHI

Learn to relax and exercise at the same time. Take time to slow down the busy world around you with this slow-moving, ancient Chinese martial art. Tai Chi is a great way to reduce stress, get healthy and improve your quality of life. It can simply be a form of exercise/relaxation or you can make it a lifetime of study/practice in an exercise of mind, body & spirit.

Bill Simpson has been practicing and studying Tai Chi Chuan for over 19 years and has been teaching for over 10 years. In 1996 Bill began studying with Master Ru Yu Wen who was the former Vice Secretary General of the International Tai Chi Association in Sichuan, China. Bill was fortunate to have had the invaluable experience to receive daily, one-on-one lessons in Tai Chi, Tai Chi Sword, Push Hands, Meditation, QiGong and Taoism for a over a year. Bill received a teacher certification as a 7th generation teacher of Yang style Tai Chi Chuan from Master Ru. He still attends Master Ru’s classes. To find out more about Master Ru please visit MasterRu.com

Bill is a gifted teacher and communicator. His teaching focuses more on the health benefits of Tai Chi more than the martial aspect. Bill demonstrates the martial applications for each of the movements in order to show the practical meaning behind the movements to help students get a better understanding.

Bill teachers the beginner’s 24 Movement Yang Style Simplified Form; the Yang Style Long Form; Tai Chi for Seniors; Basic Push Hands; QiGong and Taoist Meditation.

Bill offers group classes and private/semi-private instruction in the following:

  • 24 Movement Simplified Form (Yang Style)
  • 108 Movement Yang Style Long Form
  • Golden Tai Chi For Seniors
  • Tai Chi For Bodyworkers
  • Beginners Push Hands
  • Six Goose QiGong
  • Taoist Meditation
